    I’ve been trying to pay more attention to what I eat and drink lately, for health reasons. I really love white wine, and I’ve been wondering if there were some health benefits associated to it. What are the health benefits of drinking white wine?

    White wine does have a few health benefits, yes. White wine contains antioxidants, although not as much as red wine does. Antioxidants help protect the cells of your body from oxidation.

    Drinking white wine can also help reduce hypertension, and help prevent lung disease and cancer. Of course, for those health benefits to apply, you need to drink with moderation. Drinking too much wine can easily counteract these benefits.

    So if you love white wine, I think there is no reason why you couldn’t enjoy a glass of it each day.


    White wine is not as good for your health as red wine would be. That’s because the grape skins are removed, and the health benefits of grapes are mostly present in their skins.


    If you love drinking it, then I say it’s good for your health because it makes you happy! Many people become miserable when they decide to be on a diet, because they stop eating all the things they love, and being miserable doesn’t really help them become healthier.

    I think health is all about balance. The key is to not drink too much wine, but one glass each day should be fine.


    I’ve been told that drinking white wine instead of red wine was a good way to avoid feeling too hungover the next day. So that’s one benefit for sure, even though I still prefer red wine!

    I don’t think alcohol is good for health. People who claim that are just trying to justify the fact that they need to drink each day, so they pretend it’s good for their health. Or companies who sell alcohol are trying to make us believe that it’s good for health, while in fact it’s a bit like a poison. Drinking wine and alcohol can make people lose control and do terrible things, and that’s never healthy.
